First summary

In Written English class Gilary and I had to write a summary of the text “learning to read and write” by the author Dan Kurland. This was our first attempt

This is the second version:

“As the author Dan Kurland says in its text Learning to Read and Write for writers, it is necessary to become good readers. Only when writers know how to read well, they can express their own ideas. When someone is a good reader, that person knows how to analize different kinds of texts and also understand how other writers use the language to communicate their ideas. By doing this, writers can mimic and improve their writting skills”.
